Something Next to Normal…

…would be okay.

Welp. Here’s the info dump update. (Dumpdate?)

Closed Ripcord at Florida Rep end of January.

Back to Barter for Appalachian Festival of Plays & Playwrights in February. Got to read two WONDERFUL plays: A Thing of Beauty by D.W. Gregory; and Trouble (At the Vista View Mobile Home Estates) by Audrey Cefaly. The reading of the latter was a career highlight - the kind of magic that sometimes just strikes a stage.

Off to Southern California in March; to do a world premiere of Steven Dietz’s new Agatha Christie adaptation: Murder on the Links, as Captain Arthur Hastings - a co-production between North Coast Repertory Theatre & Laguna Playhouse. Big big fun. Beautiful new companies and surroundings in which to work.

Couple of cross-country road-trips later: back to Greenbrier Valley Theatre in July to play Diana in Next to Normal. I’ve officially entered my Mom era and it was thrilling, difficult, exhausting, and the most fulfilling work of my career.

Home in Abingdon for most of August, then back to Florida Rep for Beguiled Again: The Songs of Rodgers & Hart. Autumn and classical musical theatre in SW Florida. I can think of worse ways to spend a couple months.

And….that’s it for now. A year of unexpected turns & work for which I am extraordinarily grateful.
