When I was 10 years old, I watched a PBS fundraising screening of The King & I and here we are…

…still chasing the dream of playing Anna Leonowens. (Tick tock, amirite?) Along the way, I’ve filled a bucket of dream roles; worked around the country; shared rehearsal & performance spaces with remarkable humans; and counted a lot of blessings.

I’m an AEA actor living in Appalachia, currently in the resident acting company at Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia. (Fun fact: Barter is the nation’s longest running professional theatre, founded in 1933).

South Florida raised, NYC shaped, Appalachian grown. The breadth of these experiences has made me interested in work that celebrates our differences and highlights the complexities of the human experience across the entire spectrum. I love finding the gray area and living in the spaces between polarities. At my most optimistic, I believe that theatrical storytelling is what will save us from ourselves.

When I’m not treading the boards, I love being outside - hiking, camping, gravel-cycling, gardening - pretty much all of the reasons people move to this lil corner of the country. I also swing the ol’ kettlebells and shout from the rooftops about it to anyone who will listen to me. I will spend all day in any bookstore, in any place, at any time. Travel - both foreign and domestic - is a passion. Do yourself a favor and road trip across America at least once; and here’s a tip from me to you for reading this far: Portugal is the gem of Europe and you should absolutely take yourself.
